Short paths

1. You bought a boat — Start the book, walk the boat, see what is due. The history follows the hull. A sale both sides sign is Planned.
2. When you sell the boat — Transfer the book. The buyer writes. You stop. A file you send is a backup, not the sale. A two-sided signing is Planned.
3. Talk to an insurer — Send a file of signed seen and done. They open a link. An insurer summary is Planned.
4. A surveyor looks — Fill the living book as part of the survey. Sign a Finding. The owner's Due updates. A surveyor signing with their own phone is Planned.

How to read the labels

SailOS is in closed alpha. Every page states what exists first. Anything that does not exist yet is labelled on the page, next to the sentence it applies to:

• Closed alpha Built and in the closed alpha.
• In progress Being built now. Not usable yet.
• Planned Decided. Not started.
• Concept Written down. May change or be dropped.
