What you can do today

If you own a boat

Start a book. Name the boat. Optional Kind, Year, class and Home. Open the record. Parts start blank. You fill them as you walk the hull. Nav is Home, Due, Parts and More.
See what is due. Job is Inspect, Replace or Service. Last done empty is Unknown. The hull is three regional marks. Tap a mark for that region's parts. Open a named part. Keep a photo and a receipt. Tick a job. Started on home is the named part, Job and Continue. Continue is Continue.
On a wider screen Due is Item, Job, Last done, Interval and Status. Job, Last done and Status stay on one line. Item and Interval wrap at a word. Wide Due detail is Job, Last done, Interval and Status. Home is Need cards for the same Job, Last done and Interval. Continue sits on the next due. Afloat or On the hard sits at the top of Due and own home when the climate applies. Afloat or On the hard is on only when that list is on. Row chips hide when the toggle is on. No put-away line.
Home Share is Name, Who Buyer or Insurer, and Expiry 7, 14 or 30. Blank Who is pack, not Kind Read. A thin pack is Name, Kind, Year, HIN, Home and signed findings. Download. Insurer adds Share expires. No Ordered by severity line. No ink line.
Write home water so Due follows the season. Accept or ignore usage a device proposed.
Invite a surveyor for a window on your own hull. Fjordlys refuses invite. Share a read-only view. Kind Read waits for Accept before bind. Close either when you are done.
When you sell, transfer the book. The buyer keeps writing. You lose write. A pack is a backup, not the sale.
Hide a hull from the door without deleting it.
Sign your own claims with your phone. Signing in is not a signature.

If you survey boats

Open a book as found. Year sits next to Kind. Or open an invite.
Record a Finding and sign it. Location is the spot on the named part. Condition and Severity are separate. The owner's Due updates. On a wider screen Sign is Drafts and the Finding. Condition, Severity, Photo, Location and Found sit once.
When the window closes you can still see what you signed.

This site is the splash (wordmark, hull line, waitlist), About, four short paths, and these pages. No shops. No payment.

In progress Sign-in and the waitlist work where the product is locked. Sign-in opens on Email and Send code. Photos can be stored for keeps. Next jobs name why they opened. A named share can expire. Signing with your phone is built and waits on sign-in where the door is not yet on.

How the documentation is kept

Say what exists. Label what does not. Do not leave a stale page or clip standing in for the current app.

When a page and the product disagree, the page is wrong. A change to what an owner or a surveyor sees is not done until the pages it touches are updated. A clip that no longer matches is unlinked.

No tracking. One script, on About only: the waitlist. The public pages follow the product.
