A surveyor looks

The deliverable is a living book, not a PDF that dies in a drawer. We are looking for surveyor partners.

A survey today is typed up at night. The owner files it. The next surveyor on the same hull starts from a blank page. The insurer gets a scan.

In SailOS you open the boat's record as part of the survey. You write what you found. You sign it. The owner's Due updates. The next look starts from your Finding. Risk drops because the work did not die in a folder.

1. As found, or an invite

No book yet: start as found, name the boat, open it. A book already exists: the owner opens a dated window. You accept and walk the hull.

2. One Finding per named item

Photo first. What you found. A recommendation if you have one. That is the work. The owner's book is the report.

3. Sign once

You sign with your phone. The product checks the signature. It never signs for you. In the alpha the key is a labelled demo. Wide Sign is Drafts and the Finding. Condition, Severity, Photo, Location and Found sit once. No Sign finding line.

Planned Your own phone in place of the demo key. Capture in a yard with no signal. A report in your own layout.

4. The owner's Due updates

A signed Finding can open a job on the owner's list. Your sentence stays your sentence. Window closed. You can see what you signed.
